With two first-trial sentences scheduled for Lee Jae-myung of the Democratic Party of Korea this month, the People's Power decided to submit a request for a live trial broadcast to the court on the 4th.

Joo Jin-woo, the chairman of the party's legal advisory committee, revealed the background of the live broadcast request, saying that the public needs to check the sentencing process in person because there is a lot of public interest and the social impact of the ruling is very large.

He also stressed that the court has continued to strive to expand the trial broadcast, saying that the hearing and judgment of the trial should be made public under the Constitution and the Court Organization Act.

The results of the first trial of Lee's violation of the Public Official Election Act are expected to come out on the 15th and the perjury teacher case on the 25th.
