Pennsylvania has the largest number of electors with 19 in the race for the presidential election, which is considered a key destination.

Local public sentiment is still unpredictable in the poll, so what was the atmosphere of public sentiment in the field?

Correspondent Lee Seung-yoon's report from Pennsylvania.

Pennsylvania, the biggest battleground to determine the outcome of this U.S. presidential election, with 19 electors among the seven competing states.
Pennsylvania's public sentiment is extremely close in the
poll, which is unpredictable for now.

It is only certain that it will be a seesaw game between residents of big cities with strong Democratic support and suburban areas with strong Republican support.

[Brian / Pennsylvania resident] Phew, I hope I can predict it. It depends on how the Philadelphia vs. the rest of the world plays out.]

[Fred / Pennsylvania resident] There's a big difference in voting tendencies between urban and suburban voters. Voters in the city are likely to support Harris.]

Experts believe Pennsylvania is likely to be the "tipping point state" that will determine the majority of the 538 electors in the presidential election, or 270.

Amid this situation, attention is being paid to whether the recent incident in which Trump's personnel called U.S. Puerto Rico a "trash island" will be a significant variable.

This is because there are 6 million Puerto Ricans in the United States, second only to Mexico among Hispanics, and more than 400,000 in Pennsylvania alone.

[Emmanuel / Hispanic American: I want a president who helps Hispanic voters move forward.]

Local Koreans have also actively sought to increase their influence.

[Park Sang-ik / Head of the Korean People's Political Participation Alliance: Rather than dividing sides, all Korean voters, whether Democrats or Republicans, will vote this time if possible.. ]

[Kim Jong-sun / Ambassador for the Korean American Association: I hope the president will be a person who is helpful to Korea's national interests. We'll raise our voices a lot, too.]

Pennsylvania ruled in favor of President Biden in the last presidential election and Trump in 2016, four years before that.

U.S. citizens are expected to watch Pennsylvania's choice with more anxiety than ever in the presidential election, which is a chaotic situation until the last minute.
