Iran's Supreme Leader "overwhelmingly responds to Israeli and U.S. attacks"

Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has warned that he will be "overwhelmed" by Israeli and U.S. attacks.

Iranian state media reported that Ayatollah Khamenei told university students on the 2nd local time that "attacks on Iran and the resistance front, whether in Zionist regimes or the United States, will certainly be overwhelmed."

However, the AP added that it did not elaborate on the timing or extent of the attack.

Shortly after Israel's attack on Iranian military facilities on the 26th of last month, Khamenei reacted cautiously, saying Israel's attacks should not be "exaggerated or belittled."

As a result, some observed that Iran's supreme leader may have decided to retaliate against Israel.
