Kim Man-bae Claims 'Defamation of Yoon Suk Yeol' to Court for Bail

Kim Man-bae, a major shareholder of Hwacheon Daeyu Co., who was arrested and charged with defaming the president of Yoon Suk Yeol through false reports, requested bail from the court.

Kim requested bail from the Seoul Central District Court on the 31st of last month.

Kim was indicted in July on charges of defaming President Yoon by reporting false facts related to the "Busan Savings Bank Investigation" during the last presidential election and handing over 165 million won to Shin Hak-rim, former chairman of the media union, in return.Kim, a key figure in the

'Daejangdong Suspicion', was released after being first arrested in November 2021 and has since been arrested twice more on charges of 'hiding criminal proceeds' and 'suspicious of false reporting'.
