There are large festivals taking place in every city for fall.

A small pop-up festival was held for the first time, combining products featuring the characteristics of some regions with food from traditional markets.

Reporter Kang Na-ri covered it.

Products featuring Seoul's characteristics are displayed and sold.

For the weekend, not only citizens but also foreign tourists will visit.

There are 140 kinds of products containing the Seoul brand, ranging from household goods to stationery, hooded T-shirts, and hats.

[Choi Da-hye / Pungnap-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul: I'm working around here and it's so pretty on my way home, so I came to see it. There are a lot of cute designs than I thought....]

The Pungnap Night Market Festival is being held near the pop-up store.

The unique pop-up store was linked to the food of the traditional market, turning it into a festival planned from scratch.

[Lee Dong-hyung / Chairman of Pungnak Market Merchants Association: (In the meantime), our Pungnak market has felt alienated, (but) it's so beautiful to see you go out with a discount like this.]

This is the first program to link pop-up stores with traditional markets.

However, as the effect has been confirmed, we plan to expand further in the future.

[Kim Kyu-nam / Seoul Metropolitan Council Member: We are trying to make a policy direction that can be deployed in various places in connection with the region so that Seoul citizens can love it a lot.]

Although it is not large in scale, this event that has entered our area is expected to be an opportunity to bring fun to Seoul citizens as well as tourists visiting Seoul and to promote Seoul familiarly.
