Iran has set the timing of its "retaliation attack" on Israel after the U.S. presidential election, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing an Iranian government official.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the source said Iran does not want the attack to affect the U.S. presidential election, explaining that the attack will be before the inauguration of the new U.S. president on January 20 next year.
The Wall Street Journal also shared the judgment of U.S. intelligence agencies that Iran prefers Democratic candidate Kamala Harris to Republican former President Donald Trump.
Israel launched airstrikes on Iran's major military industrial facilities on the 26th of last month, and Iran has announced a "response attack" policy.
