Prior to the investigation, former lawmaker Kim repeatedly denied his allegations, claiming that Kang Hye-kyung, who was in charge of accounting, was responsible for the alleged violation of the Political Fund Act.

Kim yesterday confirmed that the money passed to Myung Tae-kyun was 60 million won after being elected in Changwon's Uichang district in the 2022 by-election.

The prosecution suspects that former lawmaker Kim received money in return after asking Myung to nominate him.

Therefore, he was a reference last June, but this time, he is investigating as a suspect.
