Suspicion of Intervention in Nomination', was under intense investigation for two days as a suspect.

Former lawmaker Kim, who came out after the prosecution investigation, repeatedly denied allegations of a quid pro quo nomination.

The prosecution is expected to soon call in Myung Tae-kyun, a key party to the allegation, to investigate.

Former lawmaker Kim Young-sun, who was investigated by the prosecution as a suspect.

The prosecution conducted an intense investigation for 12 hours for two consecutive days.

Former lawmaker Kim left the prosecution office after a short meeting.

Former lawmaker Kim strongly denied the allegations of violating the Political Fund Act, saying Kang Hye-kyung, who was in charge of accounting, was responsible for two days of prosecution investigation.

[Kim Young-sun / National Assemblyman: Kang Hye-kyung is an accountant, so she has full power when it comes to political funds.]

After the first prosecution investigation, former lawmaker Kim confirmed to the media that the money that went to Myung Tae-kyun through Kang Hye-kyung was 60 million won.

The money was handed over to Myung Tae-kyun after the 2022 by-election, and he dismissed it as a price for nomination.

He refuted the allegation that 60 million won was paid off.

[Kim Young-sun / National Assemblyman: Kang Hye-kyung takes 90 million won and gives it to four people (Myeong Tae-kyun and three others). I was told to pay back what I received in cash and what I received in my bank account. I have witnesses and evidence.]

However, the prosecution is investigating former lawmaker Kim with the money he gave to Myung in return for asking him to nominate.

Kang Hye-kyung, who was in charge of accounting earlier, claimed in a parliamentary audit that Myung had been nominated by former lawmaker Kim in exchange for polling Yoon Suk Yeol during the last presidential election.

As we investigated former lawmaker Kim for two days, there are observations that the summons of Myung Tae-kyun, the core of the suspicion, is imminent.

The prosecution plans to investigate the facts through a summons investigation by Myung in a situation where former lawmaker Kim and Kang's statements are contradictory.
