It was belatedly known that the bus driver saved passengers who fell unconscious on the bus on their way home from work with CPR.

The Seoul Bus Association said that at around 6:50 p.m. on the 22nd of last month, Oh Myung-seok, a bus driver, first treated a fallen female passenger with CPR and handed it over to 119 paramedics.

When a female passenger standing near the central gate suddenly fell unconscious on a crowded bus during rush hour at the time, the bus driver Oh stopped the car and performed CPR on the woman.

When the woman regained consciousness in two minutes, Oh led the waiting vehicle to the first lane to clean up the traffic, handed over the woman to 119 paramedics who arrived at the scene and resumed bus service.

This was known when a passenger on the bus posted a compliment on the bus company's bulletin board.

Oh said, "I was embarrassed at the time of the accident, but I did what I learned from the cardiopulmonary resuscitation training conducted by the bus company, and it was something that anyone could do."
