The Ministry of National Defense said the ministry's Internet homepage was attacked by DDoS from around 5:30 p.m. yesterday, causing an unstable situation, with occasional slow or disconnected access.
The situation is the same on the website of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, which uses the same line, which the Defense Ministry says is now operating normally due to the military's response, including the Cyber Operations Command, since the DDoS attack began.
DDoS attacks are hacking technology that causes excessive traffic instantaneously, making it difficult to transmit normal data and bringing down web pages.
Some assume that the attack was carried out by Russia or North Korea, but the Ministry of National Defense explained that it is blocking the IP address where the attack takes place and identifying the subject of the attack.
