Pyeongtaek Police Station in Gyeonggi Province has requested an arrest warrant for a woman in her 20s who tried to damage an electronic anklet that was ordered to attach for stalking an acquaintance.
A was arrested at around 11 p.m. last night (5th) on charges of trying to cut the electronic anklet band he was wearing with scissors in Poseung-eup, Pyeongtaek-si, Gyeonggi-do.
When the electronic anklet band part that A was wearing was damaged, the Ministry of Justice was automatically notified, and the police who received the Ministry of Justice report were dispatched and arrested A.
Mr. A was booked last month on charges of stalking by contacting a man he knew against the will of a man he knew, and he was ordered to attach an electronic anklet and had to wear an electronic anklet by the end of the year.
In a police investigation, it was found that A stated that the electronic anklet was uncomfortable and damaged the electronic anklet because it was too visible to others.
