A personal Internet broadcasting host (BJ) who conducted a live Internet broadcast after a drunk driving accident was caught by the police.

On the 5th, the Bupyeong Police Station in Incheon announced that it had booked a woman in her 20s, an Internet BJ, without detention on charges of drunk driving under the Road Traffic Act.

A is accused of driving a car while drinking on the road in Bupyeong-gu, Incheon, at around 0:40 a.m. on the 1st and hitting a car ahead of him.

Immediately after the accident, he was found to have rambled, saying on a live broadcast of his SNS account, "I drank and drove," "[The victim] tried to rob money," and "I don't agree with (the victim)."

He also said to the victim, "It looks like there's no money," or "I'd just kill Park (who hit the vehicle) already." He said, "I'm kidding," and, "I'm not going to prison."

At the time of arrest, A's blood alcohol concentration was 0.233% of the license revoked.

The police plan to investigate the details of the incident based on closed-circuit (CC) TV and vehicle black boxes, check the degree of injury to the victim, and review whether dangerous driving charges can be applied under the Specific Crime Weighted Penalty Act.
