The Seoul Southern District Prosecutors' Office, which is investigating allegations of "calling" has been conducting raids on three places, including Kakao headquarters and Kakao Mobility offices, for three days.

The prosecution, which raided seven locations on the day before yesterday (5th), believes that Kakao Mobility manipulated the algorithm so that affiliated taxis could preempt passenger calls.

We are also looking into allegations of "call blocking" that prevents competitors from receiving general calls.

The Fair Trade Commission, which investigated the related case first, imposed fines of 27 billion won and 72 billion won on Kakao Mobility on charges of "driving calls" and "blocking calls," respectively.
