Although the National Assembly has begun to review the government's budget plan for next year, the ruling and opposition parties seem to be more interested in "political strife" than the budget.
During the budget questioning session, the opposition party continued to attack President Yoon's public statement and press conference, and the ruling party countered by insisting on a live broadcast of the first trial of Lee Jae-myung next week.

On the second day of the National Assembly's Special Committee on Budget and Accounts, the topic was President Yoon's public statement and press conference a day earlier.
Prime Minister Han Deok-soo responded to the opposition's offensive, saying, "In fact, it was an interview defending First Lady Kim Gun-hee, and Prime Minister Han Deok-soo wanted to divide the people."
[Jung Il-young / Democratic Party member: Kim Gun-hee's special prosecutor seems to be a press conference defending Kim Gun-hee in the end of human rights abuse and political instigation. Don't you think so?]
[Han Deok-soo / Prime Minister: I think that's what divides the people again (is that fake news?).]
The opposition party said that the public sentiment that the president should be brought down through various suspicions surrounding Kim is spreading like wildfire, and even mentioned impeachment and resignation.
[Seo Young-seok / Democratic Party of Korea lawmaker: Anyway, many people these days call for Kim Gun-hee to be independent counsel, step down as president of Yoon Suk Yeol, impeach him. It's no joke. Have you heard of it, Prime Minister?]
The government's sound fiscal and tax cut policies have led to large-scale tax losses, he also emphasized the "non-communication budget."
In response, the ruling party took cover from the government, calling it a process of normalizing the previous administration's lax fiscal policy.
The opposition party said that the budget committee is covered with exhaustive debate, and that it has no face for the people.
[Kim Seung-soo / People's Power: You may be confused whether it's the second day or rerun what we did yesterday]
In particular, Lee Jae-myung's planned violation of the Public Official Election Act and the live broadcast of the trial on perjury teacher charges this month have launched a counterattack, saying there is a lot of public opinion.
[Seo Bum-soo / People's Power: Representative Lee Jae-myung should agree to live broadcasting, and even if he does not agree, I believe that the disclosure of the trial is in the public interest.]
He also raised suspicions of illegal donations from the candlelight movement leading the campaign to oust the Yoon Suk Yeol regime and urged a quick investigation.
Following the parliamentary audit, the budget situation is covered by First Lady Kim Gun-hee and Representative Lee Jae-myung, and the discussion of the budget that will be responsible for next year's national livelihood has become a subordinate.
It is important to receive public attention, but it is pointed out that a substantial budget review is a priority in November.
