Five people drank smoke after a fire broke out in a hotel sauna in Yeosu, South Jeolla Province.

A fire broke out in the sauna at the hotel in Sinwol-dong, Yeosu-si, Jeollanam-do, at around 2 p.m. today (9th) and was extinguished in about an hour.

In the fire, five people, including staff and customers, were taken to the hospital after inhaling smoke, and 99 people, including wedding hall guests, were evacuated.

Police and fire departments are investigating the exact cause of the fire and the extent of the damage, believing that the fire may have started in the sauna on the second floor of the hotel.
