Three buses in a highway tunnel...Suwon Station Leaks

Three people were injured when three buses collided in a series on the Gyeongbu Expressway.

Citizens suffered inconvenience as new trains passed through the ceiling of Suwon Station on the Suinbundang Line without stopping.

Buses are lined up in the tunnel.

Firefighters and police are busy controlling the lanes and cleaning up the scene.

Three buses collided one after another at the Gyeongbu Dongtan Tunnel in the direction of Busan on the Gyeongbu Expressway in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province.

[Witness: I was passing through the tunnel through the Gyeongbu Expressway on the express bus, and all the lanes became congested. So I looked out the window and there were a bunch of police cars and fire engines controlling the lane...]


There were about 70 people on the accident bus, three of whom complained of pain and were taken to the hospital.

In addition, the two lanes were controlled for about an hour until the accident was resolved, causing severe congestion.The floor of the subway station

is filled with water.

The screen door of the platform is open, and citizens are waiting for the train without hesitation.

Around 2:30 p.m., water started leaking from the ceiling of the platform of Suwon Station on the subway Suinbundang Line.

Citizens suffered from inconvenience as all trains up and down the Suinbundang Line did not stop at Suwon Station until the leakage was prevented and all the water flowed out was cleared.

In Inji-myeon, Seosan-si, Chungcheongnam-do, a one-story detached house caught fire.

Two residents were evacuated safely, and no one was injured, but both houses and warehouse buildings were burned.

Fire officials explained that they had difficulty extinguishing the fire while being cut off two days ago due to water supply problems.
