FA Kim Won-joong Remains at Lotte...Contract for up to KRW 5.4 billion for 4 years

Lotte announced that it has signed an FA contract with right-handed pitcher Kim Won-joong.

The terms of the contract are 4.4 billion won guaranteed for four years and 1 billion won in incentives, up to 5.4 billion won.

Kim Won-joong, who joined Lotte as the fifth overall pick in the first round in 2012, played 675 innings in 381 games in 10 seasons, making 132 saves and 4 holds with 39 wins and 49 losses.

Since 2020, when he first played as the main closing pitcher, he has made more than 25 saves every season, becoming the first Lotte team to make 100 saves.

Kim Won-joong, who signed the contract after cutting his long hair, which was a traditional mark, expressed his feelings that he would go back to his initial intention and contribute to the team's growth for the club that recognized his performance and future value.
