Coast Guard Expands Search, Intensive Search Even at Night

A night-time search for missing people on the Venus is taking place at the sea of the accident.

The Coast Guard has deployed more than 30 patrol ships, navy, and civilian fishing boats, four aircraft, and 200 flare-ups to search for missing people.

The search range has been expanded to 65 kilometers wide and 26 kilometers long, centering on the area where the accident occurred, and is being searched intensively.

The 129-ton Busan-registered Venus, which had 27 people on board, sank 22 kilometers northwest of Biyangdo Island on the 8th.

Last night (9th) the death toll increased to three and the number of missing persons decreased to 11 as one missing person was found and raised.
