The People's Power has repeatedly urged the Democratic Party of Korea to allow state agencies to play their part by recommending broadcasting and communications commissioners and appointing constitutional judges.

Kwak Kyu-taek, a senior spokesman, issued an op-ed yesterday (12th) at the Constitutional Court, saying that the public hearing on the impeachment trial of President Lee Jin-sook at the Constitutional Court was conducted with three out of nine constitutional judges vacant.

In the defense, he pointed out that the National Assembly did not appoint or recommend three vacant constitutional judges and three communications members.

At the same time, the Democratic Party criticized that the National Assembly should fulfill its responsibilities so that the KCC and the Constitutional Court can function normally, and that the Democratic Party should no longer abandon its duties.
