Philippine Man Arrested After Swinging Knife At Colleague

Yongin Dongbu Police Station in Gyeonggi Province arrested a man in his 30s from the Philippines on charges of seriously injuring a colleague working for the same company by wielding a weapon.

A is suspected of wielding a weapon on the back of a man in his 20s from the Philippines at a meat processing company in Gorim-dong, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do, at around 5:20 p.m. yesterday (13th).

The weapon used by A was the equipment used by the company, and the victim was found to be not life-threatening at present.

The police say that A has difficulty interpreting because of his strong dialect, and they plan to call an interpreter to investigate the details of the crime.
