A photo showing weapons similar to North Korea's self-propelled artillery being transferred from Russia has been released, heating up online, the U.S. Radio Free Asia and RFA reported.
Citing social media X's Ukraine account, the broadcaster said the Russian channel posted photos of North Korea's 170mm self-propelled artillery being transported by train from what is believed to be Russia.
The account speculated that the background of the photo appeared to be Krasnoyarsk in central Russia, with the RFA reporting that the authenticity of the photo was uncertain.
Earlier, the National Intelligence Service estimated that North Korea provided Russia with lethal weapons such as artillery shells, missiles, and anti-tank rockets more than 70 times since August last year, but self-propelled artillery support has never been confirmed.
