Daewoo Engineering & Construction said it dedicated its new house to the descendants of independence fighters along with Habitat Korea.

Daewoo E&C demolished a 40-year-old house where Bae Young-kyu, the grandson of the late patriot Bae Yong-seok, lived and presented a new house.

Bae thanked me, saying, "I usually put a barrel on a briquette and boiled water to wash it, but it was so convenient and happy to wash it with hot water."

Since 2021, Daewoo E&C has renovated 21 houses for descendants of independence fighters, and this year, it has been demolished and built for the first time.
