Gyeonggi-do Province Governor Kim Dong-yeon posted on Facebook about the court's first trial sentence for Lee Jae-myung of the Democratic Party of Korea, saying, "The judiciary's judgment is very regrettable."

Governor Kim then criticized, "I can't help but ask if common sense and fairness of the law remain in Korea."

Unlike other SNS posts, Governor Kim wrote this in large white letters on a black background to strongly express his regret for the first trial court ruling.
