While Lee Jae-myung, chairman of the Democratic Party of Korea, was on trial for violating the Public Official Election Act, a police officer was assaulted at a nearby rally.
The Seocho Police Station in Seoul arrested Mr. A on charges of obstructing the execution of public affairs at around 3:20 p.m. today (15th).
Mr. A is accused of pushing a police officer who was trying to stop an argument between a conservative and liberal YouTuber around the Seoul Central District Court.
