Breaking News President Yoon begins Korea-China summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping

President Yoon Suk Yeol held his second Korea-China summit in Peru with Chinese President Xi Jinping.

President Yoon, who visited Lima, Peru, for his APEC visit, began his summit with President Xi at 11:06 a.m. local time on the 15th and at 1:06 a.m. today (16th) Korean time.

The meeting between the two leaders came about two years after the first meeting in November 2022 in the wake of the G20 summit in Indonesia.

It is expected that the two leaders will discuss various measures to promote economic cooperation and cultural and human exchanges between the two countries and exchange in-depth opinions on the situation in the region, including the Korean Peninsula.
