A plan is being pursued to spray leaflets against North Korea at sea, which was canceled last month after resistance from residents in the border area.

In a telephone conversation with YTN today (18th), the Association of families of the abductees said it plans to disperse 50,000 leaflets to North Korea in the East Sea.

The meeting said that it is scheduled to depart from Geojin Port in Goseong-gun, Gangwon-do, but the schedule for spraying will be set later because the ship to be boarded has not been set.

There is no law prohibiting departure itself under the current law, but if you use a fishing boat for other purposes, you must undergo a preliminary inspection.

To this end, Choi Sung-ryong, head of the family group of abductees, will visit Sokcho Maritime Police Station with Park Sang-hak, head of the Free North Korean Movement Association, at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow (19th) to report the departure. The distribution of leaflets to North Korea at Geojin Port in Goseong,

is the first time since October 2008, and the Coast Guard is expected to determine whether to control it based on the port of entry declaration they will submit.
