Israeli forces have attacked the Lebanese capital of Beirut, killing more than 20 people.
Citing Lebanon's health ministry, the Associated Press reported that five people were killed and 24 injured when an apartment building in Khak al-Blat, central Beirut, was bombed at 6:40 p.m. local time on the 18th.
Local media said the apartment is near a Shia Muslim chapel.
It is the third time in two days that Israel has carried out airstrikes in the city center of Beirut, and the airstrikes have not ordered evacuation in advance.
Zukak al-Blat is home to many refugees who fled southern and eastern Lebanon and southern Beirut, which have been hit by Israeli airstrikes in recent weeks.
