Chu told a floor meeting that supplementary legislation is needed to get back the misused taxes and that legal instruments will be put in place for the effective return of deposits and campaign subsidies.

He then pointed out that if the invalidity of the election was confirmed, the amount preserved for the election expenses was returned, but 80 election offenders have not been returned since the 17th general election and 20.6 billion won in amount.
