[Gyeonggi] Hwaseong-si, LH, Dongtan 2nd District General Hospital Business Agreement

Hwaseong-si has signed a business agreement with the Korea Land and Housing Corporation and LH to attract large-scale general hospitals in Dongtan District 2 and to establish and revitalize a local complete medical system.

Accordingly, LH plans to announce the recruitment of medical operators and select preferred business negotiators by March next year.

Earlier on the 25th of last month, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport approved and announced changes to the "Dongtan 2 District Development Plan (23rd) and Implementation Plan (24th)", laying the foundation for the promotion of medical complex commercialization.

Hwaseong City and LH have been pushing to change the development plan for Dongtan District 2 in connection with the development of the reservoir to attract general hospitals.

Hwaseong Mayor Chung Myung-geun said, "With this agreement, we will be able to start a public offering to select a medical complex in Dongtan District 2," adding, "We will actively provide administrative support to improve the quality of health and medical services for citizens."
