A, a former Big Hit Music team leader who stole money by lying that he would run a souvenir business for the group BTS (BTS), was sentenced to prison.

According to the legal community on the 20th, the Gwangju District Court's Criminal Department 12 sentenced A, who was accused of fraud, to two years and three years of probation and ordered 120 hours of community service.

In June last year, A was put on trial on charges of stealing 576 million won 17 times by lying that he would run a souvenir business for BTS members.

At the time, A deceived the victim and stole the money, saying, "BTS members are doing solo activities before they go to the military, and they are receiving investments in goods to distribute to fans."

The court sentenced the suspension of execution based on the reimbursement of more than the principal of the damage, saying, "The guilt of defrauding a large amount of money in the name of business investment using the title of the team leader of a famous entertainment company is heavy."
