The Democratic Party of Korea stressed that it will carry out a parliamentary investigation, saying it cannot stop angering the regime's shamelessness to cover up the truth when the military prosecution demanded a three-year prison term for former Marine Corps investigator Park Jung-hoon in connection with the death of corporal Chae.
The Democratic Party said at a National Assembly briefing, "How is it a protest and a defamation of one's superiors to properly reveal the truth of one's unfair death?"
Representative Park Joo-min also claimed on his SNS that he would dig into and uncover the truths that those who have committed real crimes try to hide, regardless of the special prosecution and the parliamentary investigation.
