Western officials say "Russian-launched missiles, not ICBMs"

While the Ukrainian military said that Russia had fired intercontinental ballistic missiles and ICBMs for the first time since the war, Western officials said that Russia did not appear to have fired ICBMs.

ABC reported that an unnamed Western official said the missiles Russia fired at Dnipro appeared to be ballistic missiles with a shorter range.

Another unnamed Western official also told Reuters that the initial analysis did not appear to be an ICBM, leaving open the possibility of a change in the final conclusion.
