Israel's former Defense Minister Yoav Galant slammed the International Criminal Court (ICC) for issuing an arrest warrant for him as "promoting murder and terrorism."
"This decision has put Israel and Hamas' murder leaders on the same line and justified the killing of infants, the sexual assault of women and the kidnapping of elderly people," Gallant told X.
He argued that "he has created dangerous precedents for the right to defend himself and moral war."
"The days when we were denied the right to self-defense are gone," Galant said. "Israeli forces will continue to operate until hostages are returned, Hamas is disbanded, and Israelis return to their homes safely."
