In August, the Government Public Service Ethics Committee disclosed the possessions of 76 high-ranking officials whose status has changed.

Lee Se-woong, governor of North Pyongan Province of the North 5th Provincial Committee, had the largest reported wealth, totaling 122.5 billion won, including the family name.

Governor Lee, who is from North Pyongan Province, served as chairman of Shinil Enterprise and president of Korea Glass.

Among the retirees, Joo Hyun, the former head of the Korea Institute for Industrial Economics and Trade, had the most wealth with 15.1 billion won.
