Ohtani and Judge, the home run king, who achieved 50 home runs and 50 steals for the first time in U.S. professional baseball history, were unanimously selected as the MVP of the two leagues.

Ohtani was named the National League's Most Valuable Player by sweeping 30 first-place votes as a result of voting by the American Baseball Journalists Association.
