Yesterday (21st), the second day of the compliance struggle of the Seoul Transportation Corporation's union, which operates Seoul Subway Line 1 to Line 8, 27 trains were delayed for more than 20 minutes.
The Seoul Transportation Authority said 27 out of 3,189 trains were 20 minutes late, down 98 from the first day of compliance.
By route, only Line 1 was delayed, but the regular admission rate of Line 1 fell slightly from 72.5% on the first day to 69%.
Due to the nature of the route jointly operated with the Korea Railroad Corporation (Korail), the delay of the Korail train seems to have been affected by the delay of the Korail train.
Earlier, the National Railroad Workers' Union began a compliance struggle on the 18th, demanding more manpower and a fixed salary increase, signaling a general strike on the 5th of next month.
The Seoul Transportation Corporation 1 union has also started compliance operations since the 20th, demanding the expansion of its workforce and the withdrawal of the introduction of the one-man crew system on Line 2, and if negotiations break down, it will go on a general strike on the 6th of next month.
