Goyang Sono Coach Kim Seung-ki Resigns Voluntarily 'Reason of Attacking Players'

Kim Seung-ki, head coach of Goyang Sono, a professional basketball team that has recently been controversial over player assault, has stepped down from his position.

The Sono club said in a press release that Kim Seung-ki is sorry for causing concern to basketball fans with his actions in the locker room and has expressed his intention to voluntarily resign to renew the atmosphere.

Sono explained that he is looking for a replacement manager and plans to appoint him as soon as possible.

Coach Kim caused a stir when he was found to have assaulted his team's players in the locker room with a towel during an away game against SK on the 10th.
