Drunk driving twice a day...Police request arrest warrant

Gwanak Police Station in Seoul applied for an arrest warrant yesterday (21st) for a woman in her 30s who is suspected of driving under the influence twice a day.

Mr. A kicked his car on the road in Gwanak-gu, Seoul at around 8 a.m. yesterday, and the blood alcohol level measured by the police who were dispatched to the scene was the level of revocation of the license.

At around 6:30 p.m. on the same day, he was caught again by the police while driving about 3.4 kilometers, and likewise, he had a blood alcohol level of revocation of his license.

Police said they applied for a seizure warrant for the vehicle in addition to an arrest warrant in consideration of the risk of recidivism.
