Lee Jae-myung, chairman of the Democratic Party of Korea, said it is not desirable to criticize the entire judiciary and that he believes in the judiciary.

The remarks came three days before the first trial of perjury teacher charges, and the power of the people expressed doubt, saying that the intention was presumed.

Representative Lee Jae-myung continued his public remarks to the judiciary for the first time in a week after he was convicted of violating the Public Official Election Act.

The judiciary believes in our judiciary, saying that it has always found its way even if it goes wrong.

[Lee Jae-myung / Minjoo Party leader: I believe in the judiciary of the Republic of Korea, which has protected democracy and human rights according to the Constitution]

Even though it is democracy that can criticize individual rulings, it is not right to criticize the entire judiciary.

[Lee Jae-myung / Democratic Party leader: I would like to say that it is not desirable to criticize the entire judiciary]

This means that unnecessary judicial stimulation should be refrained ahead of the first trial of perjury teacher charges next week.

This was taken into account the high level of criticism within the party, such as "judicial murder" and "political judgment," after the first trial ruling of the election law, but some feared that Lee's remarks could put another pressure on the judiciary.

The People's Power pointed out that it is possible to guess the intention of Lee's remarks at a time when the court's judgment is not far away, and that the same attitude should be maintained after the ruling.

[Kim Yeon-ju / People's Power Spokesperson: I don't know if I'm suddenly starting to respect the judiciary at this point.]

He also announced additional charges against Lee, saying he was an accomplice with Lee's closest aide and Kim Yong, former vice president of the Democratic Research Institute, who were convicted in the first trial of illegal political funds.

It also protested that the Democratic Party of Korea is using the right to review the budget as a means of retaliation, such as trying to cut the presidential office's special activity expenses altogether, following the prosecution, police, and the Board of Audit and Inspection.

The results of the first trial of Lee Jae-myung's perjury teacher case on the 25th are also expected to be a major watershed for the political situation in the future.
