After the controversy over the leakage of essay questions, Yonsei University, which had stuck to its "no retest" policy, is reportedly considering retesting if it loses, and the Ministry of Education said it is one of several alternatives.
An official from the Ministry of Education said, "We understand that Yonsei University is preparing a variety of alternatives, including retesting, in consideration of the case where the essay test becomes invalid due to the loss of the original lawsuit."
In addition, the regiment said it has not decided to retake the test, and explained that it is considering various measures to minimize damage to children, and retesting is only one of them.
He added that even if the regiment decides to retake the test, it is not a situation that can be carried out immediately, adding that it is a process of preparing to be implemented no matter what the option is.
In the meantime, Yonsei University has tried to carry over the number of people recruited for essay screening to regular recruitment if the ruling is not made by the 26th of next month, when the early admission process ends, but it seems to have left the possibility of retesting open when the Ministry of Education said it is difficult to see it as a reasonable alternative.
