The 29th "Gey Pride Parade" was held on the Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro on the 24th local time, with thousands of people gathered.

Participants carried rainbow-colored flags, towels, and fans that represented LGBTQ people, dancing to music, singing, and enjoying the festival.

One of the themes of this year's festival is sustainability.

They argued that human sustainability can grow through gender equality, sexual diversity, and social justice.

According to Brazil's LGBTQ organization, at least 230 Brazilian LGBTQ people were killed in violence last year.
