People's Power said it will form a task force to improve the system of opinion polls conducted during the party's primary.

Han Dong-hoon, chairman of the People's Power Party, said at the Supreme Council, "After thoroughly checking the current state of opinion polls in the past party's primaries, we will ensure that there is no room for opinion polls that distort public sentiment."

He then pointed out that it is important for the poll to be settled in reality regardless of the ruling and opposition parties so that the investigation is fair and not distorted, but many problems and vulnerabilities have been revealed in the case of Myung Tae-kyun.

He explained that party democracy cannot be achieved if expediency and distortion are involved in the party's decision-making process, and that he will set up a TF led by the head of the Yeouido Institute.
