Exemption from administrative disposition of accommodations received by teenagers without knowing 'forging ID'.

Administrative dispositions are exempted for jjimjilbangs and lodging facilities that were received without knowing the age of teenagers who forged or stole their ID cards.

The Ministry of Health and Welfare announced the legislation by January 6 of next year to revise some of the enforcement regulations of the Public Health Management Act.

This is a follow-up to the promulgation of an amendment to the Public Health Management Act last month to prevent the unfairness of teenagers being suspended from business by cheating their age even though the business operator fulfills its duty to verify ID.

The revised bill exempts public sanitation operators from administrative disposition if they are confirmed that they do not know whether the user is a teenager due to forgery, alteration, or theft of ID cards.

If you cannot confirm that you are a teenager due to assault or intimidation, you will be exempted from disposition.
