Ukrainian President Zelensky says Russia has launched more than 150 airstrikes in one day since the evening of the 24th local time.
They targeted more than 10 regions of Ukraine, including Odessa and Kharkiv, with drones, missiles, and aerial bombs.
In response, Russian military bloggers say Ukraine fired eight U.S. Atax missiles at a time into Kursk, a battleground in western Russia.
On the Kursk front, there were also reported fighting between Ukrainian and North Korean forces.
Varylevich, the chief of the Ukrainian military, said the North Korean military disguised itself as indigenous people in Russia's Far East and also had identification cards.
Amid a flurry of North Korean military sightings everywhere, the G7 foreign ministers gathered in Italy to seek diplomatic solutions.
Britain has announced new sanctions on 30 Russian ships, saying they are the biggest sanctions on a fleet of Russian ghosts.
[David Lammy / British Foreign Secretary] The sanctions highlight the UK's commitment to Ukraine. At the same time, the UK will continue to provide 3 billion pounds (about 5.28 trillion won) in annual support until needed.
As the Trump administration, which will be launched in January next year, is likely to reduce its support for Ukraine, France and Britain are also talking about the possibility of leading European-oriented military support.
The two countries are discussing defense cooperation, including ways to use private defense companies, and attention is being paid to whether the European military's dispatch to Ukraine will revive.
At tomorrow's G7 foreign ministers' meeting, individual bilateral meetings are also scheduled along with a special session attended by Ukraine, which is expected to lead to a diplomatic war to strengthen Ukraine's support.
