Crackdown on illegal activities in national parks during the peak autumn season

The National Park Service will crack down on illegal activities in national parks during the peak autumn season when travel and hiking increase.

The targets of the crackdown include entering prohibited places such as side streets, illegal parking, camping and cooking in undesignated places, and smoking and drinking.

The Korea National Park Service said it plans to deploy 3,863 personnel to prevent safety accidents and illegal activities by visitors.

He also explained that he will use banners to inform visitors in advance of the crackdown.

If you do something that goes against the relevant laws and regulations in a national park, you will be fined, and the amount of fines will increase depending on the number of detections.
