Gyeonggi Southern Police Training to Identify Victims of Terrorism

The police conducted a training to identify the victims in preparation for situations where multiple deaths could occur due to terrorism or major disasters.

The Gyeonggi Southern Police Agency mobilized more than 60 people, including scientific investigators and police commandos, this morning (2nd) to conduct training to cope with large-scale terrorism with fire fighting.

Police suppressed the suspects, assuming an explosive attack at the yacht festival venue, and then collected the belongings of eight dead people from the scene and took fingerprints and DNA to recreate the process of identifying them.

The Gyeonggi Southern Police Agency explained that it will strengthen its disaster response capabilities by training assuming various situations at least once a year.
