Woori Bank has another financial accident worth more than 5 billion won.
Woori Bank announced that an outsider's submission of false documents caused a financial accident.
The accident period was from July 2 to August 1, and the amount was confirmed to be 5.559 billion won.
Woori Bank said it was an accident related to loans for the sale of residential officetels, and explained that it was discovered during a comprehensive inspection of branches this month.
Woori Bank plans to review the criminal complaint after further investigation.
This is the third time this year that Woori Bank has disclosed a financial accident.
