The Ministry of Unification predicted that while North Korea is scheduled to hold our National Assembly-like Supreme People's Assembly on the 7th and start constitutional amendment, it may also destroy the basic inter-Korean agreement signed 33 years ago.

An official from the Ministry of Unification told reporters today that Kim Jong-un announced a constitutional amendment by removing expressions such as peaceful reunification and national unity and reflecting maritime border regulations, the bill to destroy the basic inter-Korean agreement can be processed together.

The Inter-Korean Basic Agreement is a historical agreement that has served as a milestone in inter-Korean relations since it was signed at the 5th inter-Korean high-level talks in December 1991, and the preface defines inter-Korean relations as special relations aimed at unification, not between countries.

At the same time, the Ministry of Unification predicted that as a follow-up to the declaration of inter-Korean relations as two hostile countries, the Foreign Ministry could reorganize its organization against the South, and that the North Korea-Russia treaty signed in June could be ratified at the Supreme People's Assembly.
