"Consensus money, for Korean War veterans..." Dutch author's love for Korea [Anchor Report]

2024.10.02 오후 03:25
A YouTuber and author from the Netherlands exhibited his map of Seoul in Seongsu-dong, Seoul last month.
There are letters written in Korean all over the
map.

It seems to be a message to celebrities such as "I love you" and "Album fighting."

Someone scribbled on the work.

Bart Van Gwolfen, the author and YouTuber of the work, announced on his SNS that he would stop the exhibition on the day of the crime.

Later, he sent direct messages to a woman in her 20s, a man in his 30s, and Bart, who damaged the work, to find themselves scribbled, and Bart reportedly encouraged them to turn themselves in to the police.

It has been confirmed that the man and woman caught by the police made statements to the effect of "drawling without knowing it was a work."

No matter how much you didn't know, you should be responsible for your actions.

Bart revealed that he had received the settlement through an agreement with the scribblers and men.

But he said, "I never agreed on it for money."
It's not known how much the
settlement is.

In fact, it is reported that the entire settlement will be donated to the Korean War Veterans Association in the Netherlands.

I can't help but bow to foreign YouTubers' wise response to shameful Korean behavior.
