On the 1st, gunmen got off a train stopped at the station and opened fire on nearby citizens.

At least seven people were killed and more than a dozen injured in the incident, which took place 30 minutes before Iran's missile strike.

Police confirmed that the two suspects killed after a gunfight at the scene were from the West Bank city of Hebron.

In a related development, Hamas, the Palestinian militant group, has claimed responsibility for the shooting.

"Islamic fighters infiltrated the occupied territories and carried out heroic operations," Hamas said in a Telegram statement.

Around the same time, two explosions occurred near the Israeli embassy in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Local police have arrested three Swedish suspects for questioning, believing the explosion was caused by a grenade.

[Jens Yespersen / Copenhagen Police Commissioner: Not long after the crime, a young Swedish man was arrested not far from the scene of the crime. A further investigation later led to the arrest of two more young Swedish men on a train at a railway station around noon.]

Amid the heightened tensions in the Middle East, sporadic terrorist attacks in various parts of the world are feared to continue for the time being.
